Acquire the Fire 2009

Ah, the fond memories of church camp and going for a week or weekend and just giving God all of the praise and worship that we can muster. About a year ago some friends of mine decided to go to this conference in Tulsa called Acquire the Fire, little did I know that we would be volunteering I was pretty open minded so I said "what the heck" and went. The conference lasted a weekend and I have to tell you it was the most spiritually moving conferences I think I have ever been to in my life. I would greatly encourage anyone who hasn't been to go and I promise you by the time you leave that place you will be on fire for God and hopefully you will pursue after him in the weeks to come!!!

A couple days ago We(my friend Jane who got me going, Karrie, Marcus, Alex, and I) headed off to the 2009 ATF in Tulsa and I have to say the speakers their were even better this year than they were last year. So please if you don't get anything else out of this blog just know that if you are a christian and you strive to be more like God everyday then go or volunteer at ATF and I promise you, you will meet God in that weekend and be filled with the Holy Spirit!!!
